...Did all that. I'm almost certain the problem is with the speaker system.
Lady Fitzgerald, not sure if you tried this yet. I have a Logitech speaker setup and I tried all kinds of setup and driver things. Then low and behold I discovered my satellite speaker, the one with a headphone jack and power button has a tiny switch selector on the back of the speaker. I moved it and all of the sudden had surround sound.Hope that's a possible solution for you.
I don't know the model # of my 5.1 Logitech speakers (other than they are several years old and I have no desire to crawl under my desk to check the back of the amplifier/sub woofer enclosure; old age sucks) but none of the satellites have any switches on them. All the controls and the headphone jack are on a wired module that sets on my desk. The front and rear, left and right speakers work just fine. The problem is both the center speaker and the sub are getting the same feed. When I test the speaker connection in the Realtek driver, testing the center speaker feeds both the center speker and the sub. The same happens when testing the sub. I can't control the volume to the center speaker independently of the sub.
Okay we must have a different set as I don't remember my model number. I had the same problem on mine so I hoped it would help.
lets hope so else: BUY A NEW ONE!
Thank you! Do you want my mailing address so you can send me the money to pay for it?
She left her email so send it
