Why is Windows Update acting weird?
Okay, there's something weird with my taskbar. There's tons of Windows Update icons that pop up. They disappear when I mouse over them. It's really strange and it's the first time I'm encountering this problem. Does anyone know what is causing this?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Hello Benjamin, and welcome to Seven Forums.
It looks like it's just a temporary glitch with Windows Update and it's notification area icon.
If you move the pointer over them, then they usually should all go away except one that should only appear instead.
If it continues to do this, then restarting the computer should sort it.
Hope this helps,
Shawn

They do disappear, but they turn up again. So I tried restarting my computer but that didn't seem to help either. I've disabled the icons for Windows Update because they were beginning to annoy me.
It doesn't seem to be affecting system performance or anything like that. Task Manager doesn't show any funny stuff. So hopefully the glitch will fix itself.
Thanks for the prompt reply!
