Hi Dsky,

Both of those systems have integrated graphics, meaning they will use your CPU and system memory for hardware acceleration. TF2 will perform very poorly on those machines, if it runs at all.

Hello guys, I am also trying to figure out if my computer will run TF2 with the current specs. They are fairly low, but according to the "Can you run it?" website, they are close to being acceptable, and the only parts that arent acceptable are the Pixel shader and Vertex shader which are 2.0 and 3.0 is required, and my thoughts are that i can play on the lowest graphical settings. ANYWAY the specs are 3700+ AMD Athlon 64 Processor, 1.0 GB RAM, 250 GB Hard Drive, 2.19 Ghz, ATI XPRESS RADEON 200 Series video card, Direct x 9.0.........Think that covers most of the required, i have fast internet connection and currently run games like Day of Defeat:Source and Everquest quite well. As i mentioned earlier, i'd be content with having to run TF2 with lower graphics and shades and stuff like that, as long as i might be able to play it.

You would be lucky if you could get it to run smooth on low settings.

I remember i played it on integrated graphics adapter when my x1950xt died, but you can only play on low-polygon maps (mostly fan-made).

There are also mods and low-resoultion/polygon textures/models out there that help you run the game with weak hardware. my clanmate actually played it on his netbook with us.
