win 7 games not playing

Hi,

What i am having problems with is playing the win 7 games (solitaire chess etc) it tells me it cannot find a suitable 3ddevice.
i am running two asus ati 8700 crossfired all games play well ie crysis world at war call of duty 4 etc with exception to crysis2 it will load and play once and will never load again.
any one havin the same issues?

I'm unfamiliar with the ATI 8700, I would try the Windows 7 WHQL drivers and see if that fixes your problem. Or try running Crysis in compatibility mode.

ok where do i look for the WHQL drivers?
do you think it'll fix the win 7 games issue as well?

any body told you, you're a genius? installed the drives as per your suggestion worked perfectly

Win 7 seems to be pretty good so far runs well and quicker than Vista.
we just need a few more antivirus comps to produce a win 7 compatible version thats not cpu hungry.
any body heard what the release price will be?

Not sure on the price, but release is expected Dec 09.

win 7 games

1. Click the Start button, click Control Panel, click Programs, and then under Programs and Features, click Turn Windows features on or off.
2. Select the Games check box, and then click OK.

When I first installed win 7 I didn't have any games in my folder. I followed the steps above and now I have games. You have to click the box next to games to see all the games, then put a check by the ones you want to open.
