It went great for me. The only problem I had is I don't have some of the Paragon software it wanted to install. But, it works fine. I do have some of it and it is on the USB drive.

SIW, it really wasn't a problem. I just didn't have some of the paid software from Paragon. It gave me an error that it couldn't find it, and I went right to the next one. It wasn't a problem and if I had paid for the software, I would want it included. But, it works fine. I really don't think there is anything for you to look at. Maybe just tell people if you don't have the software, it will give an error that it can't find it (for obvious reasons), but don't worry about it, just keep going.

It is just a small error in the cmd file. No rush, but might as well fix it when I get a mo.

please accept my apologies for beeing too impatient and unjust.

Your new v15 now works like a charm with a german Win7 Ultimate SP1 x64.
Also successfully captured installed Aomei Backupper and Aomei Partition Assistant Pro.
So far no problems found.

Sorry for not getting back to you immediately... and thank you so much for the help.

Moving the directory to the root of the C drive worked, and I was able to create and burn the ISO fine.

PS - Unfortunately, the Windows environment did not load... it started out fine...I saw the Windows logo spinning, then it abruptly rebooted. It repeated this a few times before I stopped it.

I have not diagnosed it further, since I used another boot disk for what I was doing.

However, thanks again for all your work on this!

Macrium 7 Issue

Hi SIW2

I needed to make a new Macrium Rescue ISO because I foolishly update MR6 to MR7 sometime last year.
It proved to be impossible to get MR's tool to build the Resuce disc as it can't download WinPE (I assume that is the file it's looking for).

I have the WinPE ISO, but I can't make a valid WinPE.zip file (according to MR).

So I thought I'd create a new version of your tool.
I screwed it up the 1st time.
The 2nd time it seemed to work correctly (I saw no error messages during the build process).

When I tested it the desktop appeared with the MR icon, but MR wouldn't run.
I couldn't run it from the actual exe file either.

Any ideas where I might have gone wrong?

cant remeber much about this. it was years ago.

I have made a little batch file that does the same job for win10/11 bootable wim files.

I might get the time to adjust it to work for win7 bootable wims.

If you have a win10/11 bootable wim file you can run the batch file in win7 and point it at the win10/11 bootable wim.

I downloaded a MR installer (v8.0.7783) from Major Geeks.
I made a Rescue ISO using it.
