2 wks ago the screen froze on my desktop while using Win 7 online. I rebooted only to find it would automatically boot back down after signing in on PW page & opening to desktop. Sometimes it would boot down at the PW page & never make it to the desktop. Shut pc down overnite then next morning it was ok. 2 days later, same thing happened. Shut it down overnite again but unlike previous time next day it wouldn't stay booted up. Automatically booted down at either password or desktop. Spent 5 hrs on phone w/a Dell tech - no hardware issues, did a defrag, but he couldn't determine what was wrong. Have been operating in Safe Mode since as I need the pc for business. But need to get back into normal pc usage b/c of limited functions in Safe Mode.
Can anyone help with this prob? I'm not knowledgable enough about computers to fix this on my own & have no idea what to do next. Thx.

Thx. If I do that, will I still have access to all the files/folders under the previous admin user login (My Docs, downloads, etc). I have legal docs I use & refer to daily in those folders & MUST be able to access them.

If I will have access to them, how do I create a new admin login? Sorry, I know v little about computers, :o just how to use it for work once I'm online. Thx.
