Ok this has been some time so please be patient
My friend just moved and when he hooked his laptop it asked for the password, which he does not know or forgot.
What I did for him when he first bought it back in 2017 was to create a boot disc, I have 2 of them as I remember his first laptop was defective so he was sent a replacement. Both the same models and both had the same OS.
So I have 2 discs, what do I have to do to get his password or create a new one w/o loosing what ever he has on his laptop? In the one disc folder I did have a piece of paper with what I think is his MS key and also I have written Net framework V4.0.30319 ( if that helps)
HELP
TIA
