Hi, I have a problem on my tiny home network.
I have 1 desktop with windows 2000 and laptop with windows 7 home.
I shared folders on windows 2000 and removed all passwords.
it means when i boot 2000 system i am not asked for any credentials.
But when i tried to see those folders from windows 7 i am always asked for
login and password.
I also have Andriod tablet and it access those folders (on win 2000) without problem.
Also i cannot access shared folders on my win 7 laptop from this tablet (it also is asking for login and password on win 7 but win 7 does not have it).
Thanks.

I somehow managed to solve this problem by toggling the guest account off, rebooting, turning it back on, and rebooting again.

It leads me to believe it's actually a registry entry (as toggling it active/inactive really only affects registry entries) but I have yet to locate which one is the culprit.

Anyhow that being said doing so can't really hurt anything so it's worth a shot.
