Does it ask for a "Network Key" when you try to connect?
I have a vodafone version of the linsky router and the i found my key in my virtual router.
So,plug the cable in from router to pc.
Let it recognize it.
Open command promt. (CTRL+R then type CMD and then Enter)
Type ipconfig>enter
Copy your default gateway (should be 192.168.1.1) into your broswer address bar (mozilla etc)
Hit enter
If you have your own password put it in now/if not try leaving it blank or try "admin" or "ADMIN"
Go to advanced.
Go to Network
Wireless LAN
Copy the "Pre-Shared Key"
If it does not prompt for this key turn security off (same page as the key) and see if you can connect then.
My Computer
Computer Manufacturer/Model Number
Blue Shards 1.0
OS
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
CPU
AMD Phenom II 555 Black Edition Quad Core OC'd to 4.0GHz
ok103, see if you can compare your router "Setup" to this.
Just put in 192.168.1.1 in your web browse (as Minotar said) to bring up the router's config window.
Most Linksys router have similar of not the same config windows.
(note: i have very basic setup)
