Alright, so I'm new to this but I reference this site frequently for fixes but I've come across one I can't seem to solve so I figured I'd ask for help. Note that I'm running the 64-bit version of Windows 7.
I recently moved to Build 7068 to gain more system stability but one bug is still plaguing my system.
My system will crash out and restart or lock up and force me to restart it. Sometimes static bursts come out of the speakers, other times the screen just goes dark and the system reboots. It seems to happen most frequently during intensive processes like gaming or music even.
The error message I get is this:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7068.2.0.0.256.1
Locale ID: 1033
BCCode: 100000ea
BCP1: FFFFA800541D750
BCP2, BCP3, BCP4: 0000000000000000
OS Version: 6_1_7068
Service Pack: 0_0
Product: 256_1
"Files that describe the problem":
C:\Windows\Minidump\040809-7833-01.dmp
C:\Users\Garrett Larsen\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-185999-0.sysdata.xml
My first thought is that its either a Vid Card or Sound Card driver issue but I'm running the latest ATI Catalyst 9.3 drivers for Vista and the Beta Windows 7 drivers recently released by Creative. I just can't seem to isolate the problem or if I should chalk it up to the build.
Any thoughts? Suggestions? Anything?
