Windows 7 computer device name &/or MAC address change per account?

I recently set up this internet management service Skydog for my family, it sets rules and policies of what websites users can visit and manages them by the device they are using, so far it works great for everything, but our shared family PC. We're using windows 7 Home Premium 32bit for this PC and I was hoping if it was possible to change the device name or MAC address of the computer automatically based on what user account is logged in at the time. Since skydog doesn't manage multiple users per device this is looking like my only hope, but I know my chances are slim, any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I don't think thats possible, does skydog not monitor users?

It sorts them into "users" but has no way to tell what user is using what device beyond what you tell it, it does track devices by the device name or its MAC address, so if I could convince it one PC is two devices, that would solve my problems.

I think its more complicated then that, as the PC goes through the router with the same ID.

It's possible to change the computer name through a script and have it run at logon. But it requires a reboot before the new name is used. A forced reboot in this case. And it would require some logic too so it doesn't do the same after the reboot, and gets stuck in an endless loop.

And even if you get it to work this way, a forced reboot after log in isn't very practical.

However a force re-boot would not do your computer any good

Sadly, a script to change the entry in the registry would not work, because I need to have it work for children. I was hoping to have them be able to self-identify at the begging of every session, such as by signing into their own user account, but there is no way I could have them log-in, let it run the script, wait for it to reboot the computer, and then have them use it.
