Solved Windows 7 freezing during gameplay after clean installation

well it turns out my CPU is heavily over heating so the windows installation was indeed just a coincidence. thanks for all the help

Checking for overheating was one of the Troubleshooting steps I linked you in my first post.

yeah and I did but it was almost impossible to get results since my computer would lock up as soon as the temperature began to rise.

Look in BIOS setup to see if there is a way to monitor temps there in the BIOS.
