Windows 7 Keeps Freezing - CBS LOG ERRORS ATTACHED

Hi

My Windows 7 64bit, keeps freezing randomly for no reason.

I have to completely power down, as it does not unfreeze. No bluescreen.

Drivers have been updated for my sony vaio fw41 m/h. From both the Sony Vaio support site, and on recommendation from Driver Detective.

I have checked my HDD, and it seems to be fine, no overheated etc.

I did a final System File Checker (SFC), and found lots of errors on the attached CBS log.

Could this have something to do with it, and can I stop the freezes but addressing these?

I dont know what these errors are, or how to fix these.

Can anyone help?

So far the errors that cant be fixed are in a language pack, with "trusted installer" (the thing that installs apps), and many folders with duplicate owners.

While I look through the rest of this I would like youj to look in event viewer (type eventvwr in search) you want to go to the windows logs>application tab. You are looking for critical errors (they have red in the left hand column) that say app hang, app crash, or anything relating to your problem.

When you find them note the "event ID" and source codes and tell us what they are.

Were you having freezes before you "updated" the drivers?
