Solved Windows 7 keeps resetting my advanced system settings on it's own

Thank you for the replies everyone. I have begun a clean install of win7, and I will no longer mess with the registry. I'll let you know if the problem persists.

Once you have reinstalled W7, create a backup HDD image.

It will save you a lot of time, if you ever need to do a clean reinstall in the future. :)

Create another image after you have installed your software.
