Windows 7 prints blank pages on all printers, from all sources.

I have a windows 7 box, an Acer, networked, connected to 2 network printers, and 1 local printer. Also i have a local PDF driver to be able to print to a PDF file.

All prints form this computer are blank prints. It doesn't matter if i print to a local printer, a networked printer, a label printer, or to a PDF driver. Also it doesn't matter from what source i print: Firefox, Word, Explorer, Notepad, whatever. All prints are blank. If i print 2 labels, i get 2 blank labels. If i print 2 pages to my HP printer, i get 2 blank pages.

I cleared the spooler, re-installed drivers, and searched the internet for a possible solution.

I am puzzled here. All the printers are working fine when i print from my Mac, or from another Windows PC.

It seems to me this just be a problem in Windows 7, and how the OS handles the prints before it gets spooled to the correct device. Really strange. Hope anybody recognises this issue...

I have this problem several weeks now. I cannot tell what triggered this. It might be an Windows update....

Hello and welcome Richard now this might sound rather ruddy obvious but have you checked the printer for ink?

Other things such as what have you joined the printer to the machine with wifi or cable - if you haven't tried cable then do so. If you have tried cable then is it no good?

Now you are sure you have the right drivers? I only ask because my new laptop was beast of a thing to set printing up on and I resorted reluctantly to cable and that is the only way it works.

You could run these just as a matter of making sure the oS is ok
