Windows 7 Pro XP Mode Wireless NIC won't join Domain

You have limited choices regarding pass through for wireless - whereas the hardware wired adapter is available, only the virtual wi-fi miniport is available in VPC. And that seems impossible to configure.

I had the same issue and couldn't figure out why I couldn't see the domain.
All I had to do was add a .com after the domain name and a big slap to my forehead!
