After a while, my Windows 7 64-bit becomes completely useless. I can access all opened programs, but opening new ones fail.

Opening video files gives to: Server Execution Failure.

Trying to Control+alt+del gives me: Unable to display security options. . .

Other programs face other errors trying to load.

Anyone have any idea what's going on?

Those are pretty bad errors, perhaps run the included system checker programs that come with windows 7 and see if that helps.

I would also make sure that your memory and graphic card is compatible and is functioning correctly as well.

If that doesn't work than probably a reinstall of windows 7 is in order.

I have been running Windows 7 both 32bit and 64bit for awhile now and have not encountered any of those problems.

good luck
