Windows 7 (Vista) desktop effects don't appear

Hello and thanks for your input.

I have seen screenshots of the wonderful desktop of Vista and WIndows 7. Now that I have Win7 64 bit installed I do say I am impressed but...

The impressive Tilted windows seen at a 3/4 view cascade, and doing this neat circle carousel thing, does not appear on my machine or else I don't know what I'm doing. Aero, the theme itself. shows in all of it's glassy glory.

can you tell me where to enable this and other nifty effects?

I have a dual core Intel (e6600)
Nvidia 8800 Pro with 512 of Ram
4 gigs of ram
500+gigs of drive space

Hold the windows key down and press tab to cycle through or the scrollwheel.

You probably have to have the OS calculate your WEI.

If you want the Windows Switcher/Flip3D shortcut, you can get it here...

And also you can scroll thru them with YupYup's suggestion.

Have a look thru all the tutorials for other tips and effects you can enable.

I am afraid that "neat circle carousel thing" was never a real Windows 7 feature but a third party add on.
