Windows and programs run very slowly, please help.

Okay. I´ve uninstalled it now since it seemed to slow my pc down.
Still the Iobit isn´t the manufacturer behind DriverTalent.
Do you any suggestion for a reliable program that could fix my pc issues?

I´ve now tested my pc performance using userbenchmark.
It detected that my boot drive is really bad and that my graphics and processor are too great either.
Here are the results:

Finn my two cents worth do as Megahertz says and personally I don't think it would be a bad idea to update your drivers anyway it cannot do any harm.

I always get them from the manufacturer as the Windows feature is pretty weak

Finn mate you have had some ideas thrown your way and I did suggest updating the drivers for the board - have you done that yet? and the Iobit crap was suggested to be removed which you did you have to remember sometimes fixes can be easy some can take some heavy research to find.

As by the by did you check in the registry HKEYs LOCAL_MACHINE and CURRENT_USER > Software listings and look for Iobit stuff? If you find them right click them and delete the whole entry but first do this

Now please run these for starters even if you have already - the ADW especially
SUPERAntiSpyware | Remove Malware | Remove Spyware - AntiMalware, AntiSpyware, AntiAdware!
Malwarebytes | Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Premium
AdwCleaner Download
ADW download from bleeping computer delete any rubbish found with the malware scans
(NB If one is running Kaspersky security it may rant about ADW - just ignore it or disable Kaspersky while the ADW is being used)

I think reseating all the gear on the board would not go amiss and I meant to mention earlier the pics of your BIOS look very strange for EUFI unless I am terribly wrong that is a legacy BIOS.

Now this brings me on to you may need to test the hard drive and GPU but lets get that other stuff done first.

Well if I sounded a bit ruffled too it is because it came across as being a tad that way. I know only too well what these machine mean to us and yes it can be very frustrating when something is going well one minute and crashing the next. It is going to take some time because without those dumps it means working through the machine and on occasion's it can be something quite odd that causes problems. For an example my Ivy Bridge desktop lost all the USB ports and I tired just about everything I knew like scanning for this and that checking the system numerous times and was left thinking I might have to replace the motherboard when out of the blue a cluey member saw my posts and told me it was more than possible that Samsung Magician software (for the Samsung SSD's) was the villain and low and behold uninstalled it and back came my USB ports - it cannot be stranger than that eh? It was something I would never have picked in a hundred years.

But anyway onwards ever upwards eh? We shall keep trying to find a solution.

Hi ICIT2LOL!
I have completely removed Iobit now and run ADWCleaner.
Although ADWCleaner seems to be a useful tool it hasn´t fixed my problems yet.
I do also have Malwarebytes Premium since at least a week or two and run some scans on it but it hasn´t really found any malware just 2 PUK were found last time and I deleted them. I did also have SuperAntispyware some weeks ago but it didn´t seem to be of any avail so I uninstalled it. I now have ADWCleaner Malwarebytes Premium and Bitdefender installed.

Yes, you are correct I don´t have UEFI from what I can tell.

I have changed my BIOS settings to what you suggested but this only led to my pc not being able to boot so that I had to load optimized default. I´m not a step further now. Also I´m not really sure if I am to disable Onboard Serial Port 1 so I this time chose not to disable it. Furthermore I wasn´t able to change the turbo ratio it´s already preset. And also could you be a bit more specific about what you mean by a "light overclock" under MIT? According to the error message I got when trying to reboot it was mentioned that there was some problem with overclocking. I changed the overclocking from 35 to 31 as mentioned in the document you attached. Also I´m not really sure if the Extreme Memory Profile should be enabled or disabled. In your post you wrote that it should be enabled but according to the attached document it should be disabled. I enabled it so that it was set to "profiled".

What goes for the SATA I take it that you´re talking about different booting options. I can in my BIOS setting sonly set boot priorities for 3 devices. As the first one I chose HDD and for the other two both ASUS BW and DRW.

Hope that you´ve got some idea what might have gone wrong.

The image I posted is from your MB manual. It's an example, generic, not to follow.
To change the turbo ratio it´s already preset just type over.
You have a unlocked CPU so you can run above normal, overclocked. The settings I gave you is a 10% gain. Wont harm.
If you do have a XMP memory you should enable it.
All other settings are to fix unused hardware that use resources that you don't need.

Finn, you have an excellent MB, a very good CPU and GPU, so much memory that you will never use and a lot of storage.
What you need is a SSD to put Win 7 64 and programs.

I also have a GA-Z68A-D3-B3 with 8G DDR3 2133 memory and a 128G SSD and a 500G HDD. With a SSD, boot takes 30s and programs opens at a blink of an eye.

If you by a SSD, open a new post and I'll guide you on the installation and configuration.
I have this SSD PNY CS1311 2.5" 120GB SATA III TLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SSD7CS1311-120-RB-Newegg.com. So far, so good.
Believe me, 128G is more than necessary. I have Win 7 64 and Lubuntu and still plenty space on it.

I believe that you´re correct about the SSD fixing the problem.
However, I can´t help thinking that I already have a SSD my pc is a self-made pc which was constructed in 2012 by someone I know but who actually isn´t really a pc expert either. He just pretty much bought the pieces available at that time. You know when I now open my device manager than I see under "storage" only Marvell 91 SATA 6G installed. The strange thing about this is that there used to be another SATA 6G from Intel to be installed. While the SATA from Intel ran flawlessly this one from SATA needs to be updated but it cannot be updated and form what I´ve read this does often cause some instability. And this was also the case before I had this current issue with my pc. My pc used to run flawlessly for most of the time, pretty fast and stable but it always crashed once a week. Now since almost two weeks back this has changed and my pc doesn´t crash all the time but start up and programs are really slow. Could it be that the Intel SATA was SSD and that since it vanished from "storage" in the device manager was removed my malware? I´ve checked my pc recently and removed all kind of malware. But since I didn´t do anything to the parts and pieces of my computer, my Intel SATA if we assume that it is SSD should still be there but that the software for it was removed right? You know short before I encountered my current pc problem about 2 weeks ago just like about a few hours or so before I started to have this problem I uninstalled Marvell SATA but since it crashed and Windows wasn´t able to boot I load system restore with it being restored.
Any more ideas how to solve this?

- Your BIOS images you posted don't show any SSD (Solid State Drive). You only have 2 HDD. No SSD.
- I gave you instructions to connect the 2 HDD and the 2 ODD to the Intel ports and disable the Marvell SATA Controller
- Your OS HDD should be on SATA3-0 connector
- Your 2nd HDD should be on SATA3-1 connector
- The Asus BW should be on SATA2-3 connector
- The Asus DRW should be on SATA2-4 connector

Hmm look SAS is worth keeping if only to keep the adware at bay but that is you r choice of course - I us it regularly to keep the system freed up from the stuff and it does occasionally pick up real malware too.

Now Megahertz has picked a good point and I think it might be worth checking the users manual to find which SATA socket is best for the OS drive - I know Asus do have different coloured ones grey and blue on my Ivy Bridge and the gray ones are the ones they like dedicate one to the C: drive. You might also check which order of the RAM slots should be used first agin my Asus board is not the usual 1 and 3 slots (counting away from the CPU) but 2 and 4 and I think it has to do with the channels they use.
