computer windows 7 ------

I am having problems with windows clock the one in the bottom right hand corner of the task bar. Every hour on the dot a loud chime sound is made. it is very loud an annoying. I have even went into control panel and sounds and tab and have turned off all windows sounds and all windows sounds are now off. yet every hour on the dot when the windows clock strikes the next hour be it 12:00 . 1:00, 2:00,
3:00,4:00 etc. etc. A loud windows chime is heard. I can not watch movies or even listen to audio anymore because this chime is that loud and annoying. I even clicked properties, then clicked (turn system icons on or off) and turned the clock off. and guess what it still is chiming. I am to the point that I am literally fixing to throw my $600 computer away and buy me another one, this is how annoying this has become

Welcome to Windows Seven Forums.

Who is your computer manufacturer? I only ask because it could a piece of bloatware from them that will probably need uninstalling.

Something like one of these apps would cause the chiming.
