Windows Explorer changed view

Late last night, I was running high cpu usuage. I know there is something scheduled for that time.
When I went into windows explorer, there was nothing in the navigational pane and just one folder
showing in the library pane. I restarted the computer and when I went into windows explorer, the
navigational pane was back to normal as well as the library pane. Was there something that I did to
cause this? I was working with After Effects at the time. But everything seems back to normal.
I wanted to just delete this question since everything seems back to normal, but I don't see a way to
delete this post. Thanks.
