Windows Live Mail won't send email to categories

Uninstall 2012, install 2011, everything works great, btw when you uninstall 2012 it keeps all the emails, and contacts when you reinstall 2011

Yea, I was pleasantly surprised by that so I didn't have to setup the same accounts again.

So basically what was done when I installed the 2012?

Well done I might do just the same as at the moment I just get a listing of all and yes Bill it has worked out just fine eh?

Yep I think categories could be named a little more explicitly too sounds like you are classing cattle in a sale yard:huh:

Did you have WLM 2011 on the PC before you installed WLM 2012?

I'm pretty sure Robin said this is only a problem if the PC is updated from WLM 2011 to WLM 2012.

It is also "hit and miss", "when or if" it will work correctly on a PC that was updated with WLM 2012...

In my testing with this, I agree with what Robin says.

@David: So I understand this.... Robin cannot send to categories and your testing bears this out.

AaronHur has a greyed out send mail on the alternate menu. I don't want to hijack Aaron's thread chasing a different problem (too late?). So I will wait until Aaron posts again.

to answer your question though...I was at 2011 and I did upgrade to 2012. I don't recall having category issues at the time.

I recently reinstalled seven and no, these tests were not 2012 on top of 2011. Still I do not reccomend rolling back to WLM 2011.
