I use to be able to move a window ouside of another window. What are the settings, and how did this get screwed up?

Hi Boo Razz, welcome to the Seven Forums.

Honestly, I have not a clue what your issue is. Could you try to explain it again, trying to be as specific as possible.

If you have multiple monitors which I assume your talking about, you have to change the settings from the monitor display settings, right click on desktop and you should have a link for your vcard control panel

This is my second computer with windows 7. On the other computer, part of W7 was that you were able to move a child window out of the parent window. I cant do this on my new computer??? is it a setting somewhere?

Its a windows 7 perk to be able to move a child window from its parent window. I bought and additional monitor for this reason. That i could drag the child window to another monitor.

So dragging the window doesn't work?

What about WIN+left right arrow keys? (snap to the side, then it snaps to the next monitor etc)

Odd that it won't work. Is it a clean install with no settings adjusted?
