Hi all,
So basically whats happened is that Windows doesn't recognize my DVD/CD-RW as being able to burn cd's. I can still read cd's and the drive still shows up in My Computer. I can't do a restore, because I have no idea how long its been nonoperational for. Here is a list of things I've tried:
If anybody has any information on this, I would be glad to here it.

- Updating Drivers
- Uninstalling and Re-installing drivers
- Deleting Upper and Lower Filters
- Modifying the Upper and Lower Filters
- Modifying driver names
- Changing drivers
- Ran a SFC scan
- Changing burning programs
- Uninstalling iTunes
If anybody has any information on this, I would be glad to here it.
