Lol, I installed Win 7 on 10/22. It took me until one month ago to figure out why Media Player was wanting to phone out everday. It turned out to be the "Windows Media Player Customer Experience Improvement Program" was checked. Unchecking it in Options > Privacy tab stopped it.Since using Windows7FirewallControl I "discovered" that Windows Media Player (which I never use) was attempting to reach the internet and stopped it.
