I just registered because I'm so desperate for this theme. Here's the link

Unfortunately, this is just an idea/concept by the artist, but I would LOVE an interface like this, and was wondering if anyone with experience could design a theme similar to it. Alternatively, some suggestions for good software (preferably free) would also be of use.

that looks like it could be done pretty easily using rainmeter. try the gfx team maybe one of them would be able to help you out.

Aye, Rainmeter will do everything you need. Pretty easy to pick up the coding on it, and images are easy if you have Photoshop/Gimp... so yea.
