Windows Ultimate 64bit disk missing.
Question I have a Win 7 Ultimate retail
The 64 bit disk magically dissapeared and all I have left is the 32 bit disk.
If I took someones Win7 Ultimate disk 64 bit and installed it using my Product key would it install?
This will be a reinstall after a HD failure so it is the only location installed. 1 computer.
What do you think?

As long as your 32 bit isn't still being used, I don't see why it wouldn't.

Definitely not a problem. That said, I always take an ISO image of the disks as a first task and store it in my comp and back it up too. No worries if I lose the disks. No hassles wading through the disk bundle to fish out what is needed. ( I also note down the keys to all software in a word document and keep it.)
