Windows Updates not installing - Errors 8000FFFF & 8024000B

Hello there,
My computer started running incredibly slowly recently; I noticed that one of my four CPU cores was running at 100%, and I could not install any Windows Updates. After booting in clean mode the CPU core is no longer running at 100%, but I have still not had any luck installing any Windows Updates since July 8th and the computer still periodically takes an incredibly long time to accomplish simple tasks. If I allow Windows Update to run its course, it ultimately fails with error code 8000FFFF. If I cancel the update, I will occasionally get the error code 8024000B.
In attempting to fix this problem, I have switched my Windows Updates to manual. I have tried downloading the updates and installing them manually with my WIFI disabled. I downloaded the Update Readiness Tool and ran it (though this only worked after I cleaned my registry with WISE). The updates would still not install, and at this point I began getting messages that my Windows might not be genuine (even though it was pre-loaded OEM with the laptop when I bought it). I ran sfc /scannow, and it stalled at 100% verification the first time. The second time it completed, but informed me that "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them." I have attached the logs.
Thank you for any help you can offer in helping me to fix this issue. I have created a partition where I can load the Windows ISO to do a clean install if it comes to that, but I would prefer to not have to wipe my whole drive. I do not have a disc that would enable me to do a repair install, as my copy of Windows was pre-loaded on the laptop when I bought it new. (I could burn the ISO to a disc, but, again, this is a huge annoyance.)

I've never seen a similar SFC scan.

It looks to me as if it's stuck in a loop - but it's telling nothing about where or why.
The CheckSUR log is clear.

Having said that, the background errors in the CBS possibly indicate disk corruption.

Please run a full CHKDSK and SFC scan....
Click on Start > All Programs > Accessories
Right-click on the Command Prompt entry
Select Run as Administrator and accept the UAC prompt - the Elevated Command Prompt window should pop up.
At the Command prompt, type
CHKDSK C: /R
and hit the Enter key.
You will be told that the drive is locked, and the CHKDSK will run at the next boot - hit the Y key, and then reboot.
The CHKDSK will take a few hours depending on the size of the drive, so be patient!
After the CHKDSK has run, Windows should boot normally (possibly after a second auto-reboot) - then run the SFC and CheckSUR again, and post the new CBS folder.

So I ran CHKDSK again as administrator from the console, rebooted, and ran the SFC scan. I have attached the new CBS folder. The scan found nothing wrong. I hope that means I'm off to the races. I am going to try installing the Windows Updates presently.

I think it's certainly worth a try - if it fails, please run CheckSUR again and post the new CheckSUR.log file.
