Hi, A real newbie here. I am trying to install/download Windows XP Mode with Virtual PC.
I am running Windows 7 Home premium 64 bit.
I follow the instructions and it takes me as far as validating that my Windows 7 is genuine, which it does...then no further, doesn't matter how many times I hit "download"
I am getting soooooo :cry:frustrated. Can anyone help me, I not even sure whether I am doing this right. Marike

Hello Marike, welcome to the Seven forums.

Virtual PC works and can be downloaded and installed on every edition of Windows 7 except starter, but XP Mode needs Professional, Ultimate or Enterprise editions. Here you can read how to download Virtual PC to your Windows 7 Home Premium.

You can then install XP to a Virtual PC virtual machine using your own XP install media and product key.
