Wireless connection

i have a prblm during connected to the wireless router,but its sometimes happen.
when i connect to the wifi and it shown [3com, internet access] and i can surf to the internet.but sometimes when i try to connect to the same wifi but it shown [3com, internet access and 3com 2, internet access] means twice.seems like 2 connection and i can't go to the internet.what to do is switch off n on my laptop wireless untill i got [3com, internet access] then i can surf to the internet

Hi, can you you screenshot your networking connections, also check your Device Manager to see if you have any driver issues.

if the wifi connected with pic 1 (kemtrik 2,kemtrik 3) i cant surf to the internet.then i need to disable and enable or uninstall and reinstall at the device manager till i got coneection as pic 2 ( kemtrik 2 ) then i can go to the internet.pls give a solution

Sorry for not been clear, i meant your ipconfig /all details.

I need to know what the connections details are, for kemtrik 2 and kemtrik 3.

Here's a few things you can try

Click on your internet access icon in your taskbar. In the bottom of the window that opens, click on "open network and sharing center". On the left hand side of the window click on "manage wireless networks". Right click all your listed networks and remove them.

Once those steps are completed, turn off any device that connects to your router. Unplug your router from the power supply and wait for a minute or so. Plug the router back into the power supply and wait until all your activity lights are lit and flashing. Now boot up your computer and set up a new wireless network.

These might or might not solve your problem, but with any wireless network connectivity issues you may encounter this is a good place to start.

this are the details.are u have any problem wifi connection vis windows 7 ?

my connection [ dlink modem --> dlink switch 8 port ---> 6 to 3com wireless routers, 1 to server and 1 is free ] or any configuration on modem or wireless router.tq

Your local area connection is a 10.x.x.x address, this should be a 192.168.x.x.

The machine u did the ipconfig from, where is that hard connected to?

Just ignore the LAN....now im talk about wifi...i disable the LAN during using wifi.the prblm is wifi, when i connected to wifi seems like 2 connection incoming [kemtrik 2 and kemtrik 3] and i cant connect to internet except the connection [kemtrik 3] single incoming and can go to internet.my question is why this happen (2 connection).but its sometimes happen

Have you got some sort of adhoc networking going?

Can you into your Manage Wireless Networks, and see?

Ok i think have enough of this pseudo wireless kemtrik.

Can you expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > System > Controlset001 > Control > Network.

That is go to your regedit, and open up that location. I think the first folder under Network, lists all your network entries, can you locate Kemtrik2, Kemtrik 3 etc?

i managed to setup wireless network
i set my modem ip is 192.168.1.1 and connected to switch 8 port
1) 192.168.1.15 is set to my first wifi
2) 192.168.1.30 second wifi
3) 192.168.1.45 third wifi
4) 192.168.1.70 forth wifi
5) 192.168.1.85 fifth wifi

Can you advise why you need to setup so many wifis networks?

Anyway lets see what we can do with the settings.

Put the LAN Ip as 192.168.1.1, this is the router's IP and it is also the default gate ip for your network.

The start/end ip range, i would put 192.168.1.100/192.168.1.150 (my preference).

Can you show me the wireless setting section?

Try uninstalling/updating ur wifi-driver..

WHY? Please explain/elaborate on this.

Go to just 1 wireless network and if you need to lock it down do so by MAC address of your devices.

I mean why are you setting up 5 wifi networks? You dont need to do that! Just setup 1 wireless network, 1 SSID, and 1 Key! You gain nothing by setting up 5 wifi subnets... except trouble, heartache, and endless tech support from the users!

Maybe I am missing something here but would it be simple to just DISABLE [3com, internet access and 3com 2, internet access] since [3com, internet access] works fine? That way your machine will not try to use [3com, internet access and 3com 2, internet access].
