The symptom is like that of Limited or No Connectivity. Without going around the bush, can you provide details of your ipconfig /all?

Looks like your DNS server ip is not correct. Your ISP should feed the DNS ips automatically and this is not the case. That 192.168.1.1 is your router's ip which is your gateway ip. Unless some settings has been implemented by your ISP you will not be able to get out to the internet.

Are you doing the ipconfig from when it's all working?

Just realized you are using this as your wireless connection.

WNDA3100v2 - RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N USB Adapter.

Does the usb dongle come with a configuration software that you use to change settings. you might need to look it up cos your DNS setting might be the cause.

Whether you are able to connect to the internet is largely depending on the DNS. Check in the Security section that you have selected the type of security that matches your wifi security for the router. Sometimes you think it's correctly set it might not be and drop outs can occur because of this.

ISP Modem --(DHCP)-- > Router----SSID/Security----> your pc.

Do you have another machine (laptop) that has built in wifi adapter that you could test the network with?

ok well, i have a "buffalo router" and it says on the front box Enhanced multiple Security management (AES,TKIP,WEP), and no i dont have another laptop connected to the network, i do have about 3 ipod touches hooked up the the network, and all seem to be running alright, although the connection was alot quicker on the ipods (loading videos etc.) before i started having these problems with my connection on this computer, im starting to think it is a problem with the router :/

ok im going to sum it up easily what im trying to say, pretty much what ever i connect to the wireless router either has incredible low speed or it drops out, my xbox used to connect to my router wirelessly, then it stopped, then a week later im having this problem with my computer

The other factor could be inteferences causing dropouts. But yeh if you can't figure it out i'd say time for new hardware.

thanks mate ill replace my router and wireless adapter, but would recoment a onboard pci adapter rather than a usb adapter?

I fancy onboard/built-in definately. Where possible i always avoid using third party software too, just to eliminate any possibilities of conflicts. If you have money invest in a laptop for wireless connection and have your Pc as wired. G' luck with it :)
