Background information:

HTPC:
Windows 7 Ultimate x64
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+
MSI K9N2GM-FD (MS-7508)
4GB DDR2 Memory
NVIDIA GeForce GT 430
500W Power Supply

Network Setup:
Time Warner Cable RoadRunner internet 30Mbps/1Mbps
D-Link DIR 655 (Main Router)
D-Link DGS 2208 Gigabit Switch
HDHomerun Prime w/cable card
Cisco STA 1520 Tuning Adapter

RR goes into DIR 655 for main internet usage, the HTPC is wired into the Switch which is wired into the DIR 655.

Cable Coax RG6 into the Cisco STA 1520 Tuning Adapter then an RG6 Coax Patch cable into the HDHomerun prime, HDHomerun Prime is then wired into the Switch.

All wired connections are 1Gbps.

Cable Signal Strength, Signal Quality and Symbol Quality are all 100% as per HDHomeruns tuner diagnstics.

Here is the situation that the error happenes:

I get 7 local HD copy freely channels with my cable package, actually I get more but it only happens with these 7. If I have a scheduled recording on say channel 702 (Fox HD) and I'm watching any of the other local HD channels at the time the recording starts I will get the message of a recording failure and if I try to change a channel it comes up as stating that there are no tuners available even though I can see that at least 2 of the tuners are still available and I'm forced to restart WMC.

This is the error I'm getting:

Is there anything I can do to solve this problem? I've un-installed and re-installed everything at least 10-15 times and have also done 2 fresh installs of Windows 7, but I still am getting the same problem. The HDHomerun guys are saying it's more than likley a WMC problem but I'm still trying to work through it with them in case it is a HDHomerun Prime problem. To me it seems like there is some disconnect between WMC and The HDHR Prime.

Thanks
Nick
