WMC error notice : "Not all features were successfully changed"....

Never needed Windows Media Centre before until today however I need to record a TV video urgently but keep getting an Error notice saying "Not all features were successfully changed".

I'd been into Programmes & Features and noticed that the box next to WMC was unchecked so checked it ok, only to get the error notice, then yet again after rebooting ?

Any help very much appreciated....

Guess I need to find an alternative then, so does anyone know of any other ways to record old tv shows which presumably is called streaming ?

Also not being a techie if there's any extra hardware or software required first.... ?

Hi Arcadian,

Did some Googling and found this thread Getting started with media streaming - Microsoft Windows Help, hopefully this will set you on the right track. I also saw someone having the same issue with the error message you mentioned but I don't know if his fix will work for you though.
