Solved Word 2010 crashes

For some reason cannot start Word. It just "stopped working". Event log says something about bluetooth folder (?).

Have a look in Device Manager & see if there are are yellow warnings on any of the devices. There might be a problem with Bluetooth that needed a driver update or re installation.

You could also try an Office Repair. To do that open Control Panel, select Programs & Features, scroll down to Microsoft Office 2010, Right Click on it & select Change & that should open a couple of Repair option you can run. Also make sure Office is completely up to date.

Uninstall Office, disable Bluetooth (in Device Manager), and reinstall Office. Then after you have tested Office a bit, re-enable Bluetooth.

Thanks for the replies. Here is what worked: going to Word (safe mode) --> Options --> Add-ins --> uncheck "send to Bluetooth". My Bluetooth driver really is not working properly - it is a yellow triangle - and updating it does nothing. But since I do not use this function I can disable it.
