I am running Windows 7 and Windows 10 on side by side notebooks. I have used Win 7 and Word a long time. but I just learned something about Word when I noticed a strange behavior - select to end of line is not working as expected. After testing, I determined that this behavior is the same in Word 2010 on both operating systems.
Normally, Shift-End will select text from the current cursor position to the end of the line.
However, in outline mode, the Shift-End selects the entire line. I find this very disturbing and unproductive.
Having discerned this is a [bad] feature if not a bug, and certainly not specific to Windows 10, is there a way to fix it so that I can select "to end of line" not "entire line" in outline mode?
