I couldn't believe this when I read it -- can Lawyers really believe W7 infringes Motorola's patents.

BBC News - Motorola wins Xbox and Windows 7 ban in Germany

Motorola's phones used to be brilliant but like Nokia they've lost their way -- this type of action is probably the last thrashing tail of an old Dinosaur.

Can you really see W7 not being sold in Germany -- people will just go across the border to Holland or Belgium. Can't believe some of the antics of these Lawyers !!.

That sucks hopefully Microsoft and Motorola get that issue resolved and it doesn't start affecting other countries because I will stand up against Motorola if they try to ban Microsoft products in the US.

probably the most sensible comment I've read for AGES.

Honestly if I were to see some of these Lawyers crossing the road my car would have a sudden case of "Brake Failure".

(Legal BTW in Europe. Sufficient Case law exists that quite clearly says provided your car has got its annual inspection certificate then sudden Brake Failure is not the drivers fault !!!!).
