XP Mode Screen Resolution Issues

You can disable the network adapter in XP Mode settings (left pane: Networking), or alternatively in XP Mode go to Network Adapters, right click the virtual Local Area Connection and select Disable.

Edit: Okay hibernate seems to work as does disabling the network card/adapter.
