Yellow Triangle of Death on Internet Connection Icon, What can I do?

Good morning everyone!
I am currently doing all my schooling online and was supplied with a Lenovo Think Pad laptop that has Windows 7 Pro running. It's been a few months since I had it and it was working perfect at the beginning, but for the last two months I've had problems with my internet connection.
I have Eastlink wireless internet, and called a tech in. They upgraded all my wiring, tested the connection and whatever else they do and I still had the problem, I called them again and they came in and said everything looked fine, and then I mentioned the little yellow triangle that appears over my internet connection icon every time I disconnect (about once an hour sometimes more now). He then said that it was my computer, it happens a lot with windows and that it is probably my drivers.
So he uninstalled my drivers, re installed them and updated everything and said that should help hopefully, and left. He also mentioned when I do my schooling that I should plug into the modem just to be safe that I don't lose anything.
So here I am with my computer plugged in, my wireless disconnected and I'm connected by only a wired connection, I am the only one home and the only one accessing my internet, and I am still getting the yellow triangle and being disconnected !!!
*also want to add that when my hubby is home and he is accessing the internet while I am on it, He disconnects too on his IPAD, but ONLY when I am on it as well. The same also happens with my two roommates when only I am on it, one who has a desktop with a different operating system and another with a laptop.
WHAT on earth can I do ! I seriously need to fix this before I stress out enough that my lap top and modem will be out in the snow pile on my front lawn !! THANKS !!!

Well you could check the router's security settings; if it's set to use WPA-2 security delete your security credentials - reset and try again - or change to WEP and try again. Maybe try another router.

It isn't set for WPA-2 but something called WPA2-PSK is enabled, would this be anything?
