I was reading a post and I had this thought... (you smell the wood burning?) :D

So here it is:

I make the greatest program ever example... it adds 1+1 and come up with 2 always and that is all it does, why because people keep forgetting that 1+1=2 but along comes this user of the greatest program ever who asks why can't it give 1+1=3? I want it to equal 3!!

Ah the life of a programer or anyone who interacts with other people :D

Thank you for reading my little post, it was a random thought... won't happen again as I burned out the few brain cells I had... :geek:

This happens elsewhere, not just in software.

I work in a food processing facility...time and time again I've seen the company purchase expensive processing equipment and try to make it do something that it wasn't designed to do.

This rarely works out, sometimes the equipment is returned to the manufacturer, sometimes it ends up in the boneyard and is eventually sold as scrap.
