    Another neat Tutorial, Shawn. :)

Because the keys involved are in the HKLM branch of the registry, you will need to log in to an account with administrative privileges in order to merge these entries into the registry. Unlike other programs, the option to Run as administrator is not available when right-clicking a registry file.

    UTC+14 Kiritimati Date Zone.

    Hi Brink,

I've downloaded the "Restore_All_Windows_7_Default_Time_Zones.reg" but I am yet to run it as I believe my system's default time zones is okay. My problem is really with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware popping up too often to remind me that it is out of date, even when it says database is up-to-date or no update available.

When I leave my time zone's date to correspond with my geographical location (Hawaii's UTC time zone) Malwarebytes acts normal, but when I change the date (still Hawaii's UTC) to correspond with my country's political date, Malwarebytes acts abnormally.

The reason I am responding to your post is really to ask you: will the fix sort of activate or install UTC+14 Kiritimati time zone or not? If not, then I will google for help, that is, if Seven Forums fail me. In other words, I would be more than happy just to be taught how to activate or install my political time zone, DATE ZONE to be exact since my island is still in the same clock zone with Hawaii.

Thanks much in advance and God bless,
      My Computer

    Hello Tiiman,

The .reg file will only restore the default time zones, and will not change your time zone settings. I don't see UTC+14 Kiritimati listed by default though.

Not sure, but you might submit a ticket to Malwarebytes to see if they may be able to release an update to fix this for you.
