    i got the 2nd partition... by using shrink option in disk management..

    Thanks for this brilliant tutorial. Is this applicable for a dual boot linux/ubuntu and windows 7?

    I currently have four partitions -

    2 Partitions host the OS
    1 Partition is a SWAP for Linux
    1 Partition is a Shared Media Storage (which is NFATS I think...)

    Would this tutorial work in this case!

    Friends i have bought a Dell laptop with windows 7 home basic 64 bit OS,320 GB hard disc and i3 processor. My problem is :
    I have recieved it with os installed and no partition of 320 GB HDD. Now i want atleast 2 more partition on it. How can i do it without harming it and os. ?

    You don't need to use the Partition Wizard program to do that.


    First, use the method in this tutorial.

    Partition or Volume - Shrink


    Second, use this one.

    Partition or Volume - Create New
      My Computer
