There is an entry in the registry besides that is named HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\FontSubstitutes

do i have to delete fonts from the list or just the one from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts ???

    Hello LM,

You would only delete the font from the Fonts location as in the tutorial. :)

    Thanks Brink

I thought if I deleted all the hidden font files it might reduce boot time.
Glad to know hidden fonts are not loaded at boot.

    Russell :)

I deleted some fonts from both 32b and 64b font entry and they are not showing anymore in Font folder, but if i access the folder from the command prompt there is a lot of fonts that do not show up in the folder (if looking it via explorer), how can i unhide them?, example the MyriadPro-BoldCondIt.otf

    Hello LM,

Looks like that font was added by Adobe Reader instead of it being a Windows font.

You could try searching the C: drive with *.otf to see if it will let you access it that way.
