You must have made a little mistake somewhere along the line because the program does work. You can try the AOMEI Partition Assistent instead - or do it the way I decribe it here.

    Hey guy!

I used AOMEI Partition Assistent free vesion to align my ssd. After win 7 restart to align, the process bar is 3,33% and mornitor turn to black, i waited for 15m and nothing happen, so i have to shutdown my pc (hold power button in 5s).

After that, i turn on my pc and the error appear:

    "Windows Boot Manager:
Windows failed to start. A recent hardware of software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:

1.Insert your Windows installation disc and restart the computer.
2.Choose your language settings, and then click "Next".
    3.Click "Repair your computer."

If you do not have this disc, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance.

    Status: 0xc000000f

Info: The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible"

Now i've just fixed this error and access my pc normally.

What's problem with "AOMEI Partition Assistent free vesion" and my PC. @@!

P/S: Sorry about my bad english

On the whole phoenix such software is not used by a lot of us and the tutorial does the alignment for you without any outside help.

Personally I would clean and format that drive and start from scratch - the tutorial way.

Apparently the AOMEI program is faulty. That does not really amaze me because their Imaging program is buggy too. It does not work at all on 32bit systems. You are probably best off to do what John suggests.
