i have an issue, first of all it wont let me enter 200mb (100mb for that matter), i drag it and its some size like ~240mb, then when i use the counter to manually enter 200, it also tries to create unallocated space to the right of the partition in addition to the left one.

posting some screenshots using the installer version cause its behaving in the same way,in screen3, i entered manually 200 mb, and its still creating ~251mb as can be seen in the screen4.

just wanna confirm first i hope its the general behavior and its not gonna ruin my hard drive or something like that ??

Naw it weird like that, just accept the closest to 200MB it gets and carry on.

Done but could only manage the 100 mb cause for some reason it had started givin an error "the last operation will create an overlapping partition. its a bug of partition wizard, and your last operating (?) will be cancelled." whenever i used a value in the 200 range.

You did good, I've seen that 'bug' a couple times; all will be well.

Here's the snip, 3 are primary partitions, 2 logical drives.

edit: i suppose if i merge two primary partitions, then it would create it since even partition wiz is saying it cannot create a partition because of lack of mbr slots.

There are allowed 4 partitions in the MBR partition structure, either 4 Primary's or 3 Primary's and an Extended, inside the Extended partition there can be as many Logical drives as there are available drive letters.

If you want to, you can right click the D: partition in Partition Wizard and convert that to a Logical drive and "accept" the changes, then the SysResv can be created as a Primary.

Be sure to keep me informed.
