Wasn't sure whether I should post as a new thread or just keep the discussion going here. The tutorial above would have appeared to be the solution to my problem, but it doesn't seem to be. Here's my pain: I have a piece of software (Corel SketchPad) that I have ran until now as "trial version" successfully from a regular user. Eventually, I have decided to register it and gave it a fresh install (after uninstalling the trail version). After reinstall, all of a sudden clicking on the exe file would not run my program. It wouldn't do anything. I reinstalled it, still nothing. I decided to run it as Admin and it worked fine and I could successfully register the product. Closed it and attempted again to run as a regular user - nothing happened again! So I figured it only runs now as Admin, which is VERY annoying. I attempted your solution described above, to no avail. As long as I attempt to run the "scheduled task" from a reg user and not Admin, it would not run. Any idea how to solve this (other than right-click "run as Admin" everytime I want to use that software)? Thanks!
