Shutting down... Text Message - Change

Hi All, a noob here. Thanks for the great info here, I have executed the steps succesfully, however I still see the animated ring "progress indicator" thingy when shutting down. Is there any way to get rid of that?

I found out how to remove those rings (at least for the most part).
- Use resource hacker and open /windows/system32/imageres.dll
- In the PNG and Bitmap folders are images for that ring animation
- remove those and save the new imageres.dll as a new file.
- boot into windows safe mode with command prompt, remove the old imageres.dll and replace with the new one
- reboot.

i understand how, but after language pack either dont know what file or it aint workin,

Org. German/language pack Italian

evedently both are runnin, when i shut down it comes up pretty fast 1 screen in Italian, then 2 screens in german (Abmeldung, Herunterfahren), the same problem with the start up screens, have changed the 1st one (Black with Rings) using Win7BootUpdater, but after that there are 2 screens coming up in German (Bitte Warten, Wilkommen)

wont save, have full pession, and used reg/ownership, but file wont save, i will change, then open to see if it has changed, negative

I ticked some box I can’t remember in some utility I have or tried and now text messages detail every stage of the shutdown and says, ‘preparing your desktop’ on reboot. Is there any way to stop this since I can’t remember how I caused it?
