    Hello Chrysalis,

You might see if reinstalling .NET Framework 4.0 may help if it needs to be repaired.

Download Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (Standalone Installer) from Official Microsoft Download Center

    Hope this helps. :)

    DEP and EMET

Thanks for the following. I was worried when I saw my DEP display settings were grayed-out.

    1) * If you install EMET and do not "Configure System" settings, it *doesn't do anything to the Windows Data Execution Prevention (DEP) settings.

    2) *If you install EMET and "Configure System" settings to Recommended, it will change the DEP to Turn on for essential Windows programs and services only, if you already have it set to everything.

    3) *If you install EMET and "Configure System" settings to Maximum, *it will gray out the default DEP settings **since EMET will be used instead**.

    4) *IF you installed the EMET (Enhanced Mitigation Experience Toolkit), **it will be used by Windows instead of *DEP and *gray out the DEP settings...
