    1. I followed the tutorial. Slipstreamed SP1 with a Retail copy of Windows 7 Professional x86 downloaded from some authenticated website and I had checked the MD5 Checksum, and it matched with the untouched versions. I made the ISO. But when I tried to Install it, it didn't show the Windows 7 Professional "Service Pack 1" written with it. The image is attached.

Though I'd like to mention that the SP1 I downloaded was the combined ISO of both x86 and x64 SP1 versions and not the separate one.
Yep, as Night Hawk pointed out above, you will need to use the individual SP1 exe files as detailed in the tutorial steps for it to work instead.
    2. Is it possible to slipstream SP1 with the AIO ISO of Windows 7 x86 OR x64 & with a Universal ISO containing both x86 AND x64 Windows 7?
No, it must be from the separate ISO of the specific Windows 7 edition and version.
    3. Is there any detailed tutorial on slipstreaming 3rd party applications with Windows 7 because I can't find any here on SevenForums.
While you could slipstream apps with RT7 Lite, there's no point. All it does is run the individual installation file for each app one after another during installation the same way as if you would normally install them on your own. It is not integrated fully installed apps.

If you wish to have fully installed apps included, then creating a system image backup as Night Hawk posted above would be best for this since it is a clone of the complete HDD.
    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

RT Seven Lite doesn't work with Enterprise

I try to slipstream Win7 x86 Enterprise with SP1 but can't get beyond step 7 or 8 because the "Slipstream Service Pack" option doesn't show up at all!

    Plz see attached screenshot.

Is there a fix for this?

    Thanks

Hello Lokifv, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Did you download and install the Beta 2.6.0 build of RT Seven Lite, and not the RC 1.7.0 build? The RC 1.7.0 build doesn't include that option?

The tutorial will not work using the RC 1.7.0 build.

You're most welcome Lokifv. I'm happy to hear that you got it working.

Since this is a tutorial thread, there's not a "Mark this thread as solved" option. That's only available in the main forum area's threads. :)

    Hello drifking,

If you created a RS version of Windows 7, you would have already had to have a retail version of Windows 7 to do so, so I'm not sure of what you mean exactly.

Could you give us more details about what you would like to create?

    Hello TON,

You would use the same ones that you currently have installed. According to your specs, you would want to use the 64-bit (x64) SP1 exe file. I haven't tried this with a universal ISO file, so I'm not sure how it will work with it though.
I know it has been done, I just don't know where to start.

    hi there !
can slipstreaming apps give trouble ? installing apps like MSE and windows live messenger because part of the installion files it gets from the internet. and seeing you dont have a internet connection during installation of windows 7.

so does installing programs which require internet connection for completion give trouble if you slipstream those ?

Hello Fuqua, and welcome to Seven Forums.

With a slipstream created using RT7 Lite, Windows 7 is fully installed first, then when Windows 7 starts up for the first time, the sliptstreamed apps will install one by one from their installation file the same as if you manually installed them in Windows 7.

Normally you would have a internet connection by then, so it MSE should install fine. If not, then MSE will just give you an error that it could not be installed. Once you have a internet connection, you could install MSE manually afterwards.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn
