Hotfixes are not always included in Windows Updates. They are a install as/if needed item. Be sure to read what they are for to see if you may need them first. :)

I just tried the usb flash with only the slipstream and not any updates or unattended but it will not boot.
I tried it on different computers and it still does not boot. It only shows a flashing curser. Looking at it from within Win7 and it shows up as Windows_7 and the icon looks like the Win7 Box with a DVD as well. Do I have to change the name to be the same as the installation DVD?
Am I missing something? Does the RT Seven Lite create a bootable USB stick or do I need to do something else?

Barry,
When you restarted the computer, did you select to boot from your motherboard's boot menu to be able to select the bootable USB flash drive created in RT Seven Lite to boot from?
Usually there's an option listed on the boot screen to say something like "Press F10 for Boot Menu/Start Menu/etc...."

Barry, could you give more details on how you created the bootable USB flash drive to see if maybe a mistake may have been made while creating?

You might see if using run as administrator on the program may stop the error and have it run properly.

Actually, I do run as administrator. Is that not the right thing to do?
The SP Integrator is running now and will take quite a while to finish.
I would rather save it as an ISO file, then run RT again to make the bootable USB stick. Should I just save it to the USB stick instead?
OH! just saw the reference to part 2. I simply, well can't remember exactly what I did, but I used RT 7 to make the SP1 integrated ISO then used it again to save it to the usb. It worked but was not bootable.

Ah, I think that may be the issue.
If you just saved the ISO to the USB, then that's not creating a bootable USB and is why it's not working for you. Instead, you must extract the ISO to the USB using say the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool program from the NOTE box in step 15D. :)

Great, something happened and the program just shut down without cleaning. Now it won't open. I read somewhere else what to do but can't remember where it was.
Can you give me the commands to flush the mount files?
