    Trying again

So the download center that was previously linked me to was for eval versions. I need to deploy this in a production environment so that's no bueno and leaves me back at square one with my original issue.

When slipstreaming SP1 into Windows 7 Enterprise x64, it doesn't seem to do anything once hitting 100%. The buttons remain grayed out and I can can't move any further with building the ISO.

    Any suggestions?

    Confused on a few things...help!(please)

I have read this guide and several others as well as guides on other software out there like BuClean. I have a few questions. First off I am working with a 7 AIO x86/64. I also have images for most versions(xp/vista/7, starter/home/pro, x64/86) if needed.

Can one integrate updates(hot fixes, etc) into a hybrid AIO Win 7 ISO that has both architecture types? If so, how? Would it be best just to keep the x86/64 AIO ISOs separate?

What is the difference between the 'build current image' and 're-build all images' options? The tutorial touches on this but it'd be great to get some clarity on this.

The tutorial suggests you can create an AIO from a single image by selecting the rebuild all images option, is this true? If so, in the example, Shawn uses a 64 bit ISO yet the screenshot he uses results in an x86 AIO, is this just a typo?

    Thanks in advance!

    Welcome to the forum,

I don't have an answer to that but if anyone does it's SIW2 and this thread right here would be a good place to ask him,

It is my humble reply that integration of anything would be possible if the installed dvd that is in possession contains the same when you try to upgrade.
If it is updated with service packs, and others, it may not be possible to upgrade, as this will show error in actual working. Even software specialised would not be sufficient. It will create but will not work.
If service pack is in updated stage, even deleting the extra files would not be possible,as error message would keep coming.

If there is no updation to the actuals in the hard disk, then any integration is possible. Otherwise, it would be futile attempt to try these.
I have tried all sort of fixes, also succeeding in integrated messages, but while actually integration got failed. I think i made my point clearer interms of possibility of any integration.sorry, if there is any other alternatives

Is this a correct tutorial for a Windows 7 Premium 64 bit clean install. Also I have the W7 key from Belarc Advisor. I do NOT have the COA tag. I want to be sure I don't have any problems activating. Where else can I look?

As I am gathering the files to accomplish this task I was confronted with a problem. The computer I expect to do a "clean install" on is a 64 bit machine. My computer, that I will assemble and create the installation DVD is a 32bit machine. The installer, RT Seven Lite 2.6.0 Beta 64 bit, will not install on my computer so I installed the 32 bit file. Is this going to cause me a problem?

Is there any reason why you don't just use the latest MS .iso with SP1 already included ?

That would be the SP1 (U) media refresh.

    Hey Bill,

I believe you may want this one below instead if you wanted to clean install on an OEM (Asus) computer. :)

I plan to clean install on a desktop (tower) computer that I am maintaining at this Assisted Living facility, not an ASUS. I should lave made that clear. Plus I don't see the tutorial you mentioned in your post.

    SIW2,
This is the one I downloaded "Windows 7 Home Premium x64 SP1 U (media refresh) X17-58997.iso". IS it the wrong one?
